Your Living Room, Sorted – One Team from Wall to Floor
A media wall is often the heart of a living room – but the room around it matters just as much. At Leicester Media Walls we can take on the whole space: plastering, painting, flooring, carpentry, electrics, plumbing and even bespoke sofas, so you’re not juggling separate trades for every finish.
We’re a family team based in Glenfield, Leicester. We design and fit bespoke media walls and panelling across the UK, and when you want the rest of the room brought up to the same standard, we can handle that too. Quotes are free and done digitally, with no travel charges wherever you are in the UK.
What we can do for your living room
Media walls remain our core craft. Alongside them, we offer the services below as a joined-up living-room package – pick what you need, or ask us to look after the lot.
You don’t have to take every service. Many customers start with a media wall and add plastering, painting or flooring in the same project; others ask us to finish the whole room in one go.
How it works
Step 1: Free digital quote — Send us photos of your living room, rough measurements and a note on what you’d like – media wall only, or wall plus flooring, paint, carpentry and so on. We’ll come back with ideas and a clear quote. No home visit needed to get started.
Step 2: Design around your room — We plan the media wall (and any extras you choose) around your TV, fireplace, lighting and how you use the space. You’ll deal with the same friendly team from first message through to finish.
Step 3: Fit and finish — We build and fit on site, then complete plastering and the other agreed finishes so the room feels finished, not left half-done. Typical media wall build day is a few hours, with plastering the following day; wider room work is scheduled around what you’ve asked for.
Media walls and panelling
A bespoke media wall is usually the centrepiece of the room. We design and fit walls around your TV with fireplaces, LED lighting, hidden cables and decorative panelling, so everything looks built-in rather than bolted on.
Flooring
We supply and fit living-room flooring that sits neatly with skirting, radiator covers and the base of your media wall. Herringbone, Versailles and oak-effect finishes are popular choices, and we can match the floor to the rest of the room.
Wall panelling
Decorative wall panelling and wainscoting for living rooms, hallways and staircases. Board-and-batten, picture-frame moulding and painted finishes that lift a plain wall and tie in with your media wall and flooring.
Bespoke sofas
Made-to-order seating designed around your room, so the sofa works with the wall and flooring rather than fighting them. Tell us the size and style you want and we will quote as part of the living-room package.
Carpentry
Bespoke joinery ties the room together. Radiator covers, shelving, boxing-in and other timber details can be made to match your media wall and flooring so the finishes feel like one design.
Plastering
New walls and alterations need a clean finish. We plaster and prepare surfaces so everything blends smoothly with the rest of the space before paint goes on.
Painting
Fresh, even paintwork pulls the media wall and surrounding walls into one finished look. We can paint the whole living room as part of the same project so you are not left coordinating another trade.
Electrics
Sockets, wiring and cable management are planned around how you actually use the room. Power and lighting can be built into the design rather than added as an afterthought.
Plumbing
Where the layout needs it, we can move or adjust radiators and handle related plumbing so the furniture and media wall sit where they should.

“We have just used Leicester Media Walls to build from scratch a media wall in our living room and all I can say I'm so glad I found this company. From the minute they walked in we knew they were going to be good. They discussed our plan and got on with building it and wow!!! In just two days we had it built. Tv put up and electrics and fire installed and plastered and it looks amazing. If we need anything doing in the future Ash and his team are who we will call. If you want professional, fabulous workmanship and friendly tradesmen these are your guys. I've never experienced anything go so smoothly as it has with this project. Thank you for making our dream come true.”
